Ashley Walker brings a wealth of surgical expertise and a deep passion for patient care to her role as a Physician Assistant at North Beach Plastic Surgery. A Hampton Roads native and proud graduate of Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS), Ashley began her medical career in 2012 as a Certified Surgical Assistant, where she quickly developed a strong foundation in surgical procedures and patient support.
For eight years, Ashley served as a Surgical Assistant at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where she honed her skills in high-acuity environments, working primarily in Vascular, Plastic Reconstruction Surgery, and various other surgery departments to include orthopedics, neurosurgery and trauma. Her experience in these fast-paced, complex surgical settings fostered her precision, adaptability, and commitment to teamwork — qualities that continue to define her approach to patient care.
In 2022, Ashley advanced her career by returning to EVMS to earn her Master of Physician Assistant degree. Following her graduation, she joined Sentara Plastic Surgery, where she further expanded her clinical expertise and deepened her understanding of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. Working in an academic setting allowed for exposure to complicated surgical reconstruction and oncological procedures on various levels. Her background uniquely positions her to support patients through every step of their surgical journey, from consultation to recovery.
Now excited to join the team at North Beach Plastic Surgery, Ashley is dedicated to delivering compassionate, personalized care. She looks forward to helping patients achieve their goals through transformative, life-changing procedures and is committed to being a strong advocate for their health and well-being.
